  Howard married Angie (Moore) Leach on April 18, 1908, in Miami. They had two daughters, Wilmah ‘Juanita' and Hilda Faye. Unfortunately, Howard died at the young age of 26. His daughters were only two years and seven months old at the time, respectively. However, many of his descendants have carried on his Myaamia legacy and have stayed involved with the tribe.
