Biography/Notes:
One of the youngest allottees, Columbus married Bessie Charley (Peoria) on Christmas Day, 1908. They had four children: Violet, William, Margaret, and Columbus, III. After his divorce in 1917, Columbus had one more son, Paul Eugene, born in 1922. Columbus was an Army Veteran, serving at Camp Pike, Arkansas, during World War I. He moved around quite a bit after his military service, spending time in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and Kansas City, Missouri. He lived in Norman, Oklahoma, when he died in 1960.
