Rose Ann Richardville, the daughter of Thomas Richardville and An- geline Goodboo (also a Myaamia woman), was born in Indiana in 1859. She lived with her mother in Indiana for most of her childhood, and joined her father in Kansas as a teenager, in about 1870. She married Joseph F. Demo, Sr., in Miami County, Kansas on May 19, 1878. She received an allotment both in Kansas and in Indian Territory. Rose Ann gave birth to three sons: Thomas (who died as a young boy), Charles, and Joseph. Charles was one of the youngest children to receive an allotment, and Joseph was born the year after allotments were concluded.
